CS2 Configuration Tool Video.cfg Generator
GPU: MID
Generate a clean cs2_video.txt with hard limits.

Pick your hardware tier, tweak key options, and this tool will clamp everything into legal ranges before building the config. Anything out-of-range gets snapped to the closest valid CS2 value.

Range-Clamped CS2-Safe Values Export-Ready
You can still override individual values; illegal values get clamped.
1440×1080 or 1920×1080 are common competitive resolutions.
Matches CS2 aspect ratio menu (0=16:9, 1=4:3, 2=16:10).
Higher = heavier shaders; low is usually best for fights & consistency.
VRAM-heavy; 3 is fine on 8+ GB, drop for 4 GB cards.
Keep dynamic shadows enabled; they show enemy silhouettes.
Turning this off loses useful enemy shadow information.
More samples = cleaner edges, but higher GPU load.
AO is mostly visual fluff; off or low is standard for comp.
Use only if you truly need more FPS; expect more shimmer/blur.
Higher = sharper floors/walls at angles; modest FPS cost on mid/high GPUs.
1 is a good default; 2 can cause stutter on some systems.
Any value you push outside its allowed range is automatically snapped into place.
